ABOUT ME

My name is Ashley Tatiana Manrique Puentes, I am 15 years old and my birthday is on October 3rd, 2005.

I was born In the small town of Neiva, Huila, Colombia, and moved to America in 2015 with my parents and younger sister. In Colombia, we speak Spanish, so learning English (and a whole different culture) is hard, but I am trying to learn as much as I can everyday by the people around me.

There are many things that I enjoy, for example I love to draw, watch anime non stop, hang out with my friends, listen to music, try to learn another language (currently I am learning French, Portuguese, Latin and Mandarin Chinese), re-watch Hamilton which never gets old, or just read a new book.

My favorite types of books are those with history (fictional or non-fictional), romance, culture from other countries, or just anything that has a good characters and plot!

Lastly, one thing that gets me motivated and what I love doing the most is helping those around me. My dream job is to work at the United Nations General Assembly, perhaps as a representative, or even the president. But I want to work here because I will have to opportunity of traveling around the world and help those who need it the most, and at least make a change in the world for a better future.
